Most of the household power is used by air conditioning, NonTaurus, and my son! So I have decided to get solar power to supplement the grid power being used.
UNLTD Solar have supplied the solar panels and inverter and system information is being uploaded to the site to gauge effectiveness. The system is grid connected and excess power generated fed back into the grid to reduce power bills.
A power meter with USB connection is providing statistics for web page reporting of power usage and power production and what is being fed back into or used from the grid. Use of
RRDTool for recording statistics provides for up to ten years information. See
